Likud Court Rejects Gamliel Bid to Halt Be’er Yaakov Recount

Likud's internal court rejected Gila Gamliel's request to halt a recount of two Be’er Yaakov ballot boxes, while ordering the party's election process completed by Sunday. The court required Likud's legal adviser to answer by Thursday why those boxes were reopened, whether comparable requests were rejected, and to provide the committee protocol. Gamliel alleged the boxes stayed with party administrators for eight days, raising chain-of-custody concerns. The recount moved Eti Attia from 19 votes to 207 and Gamliel from 459 to 115, results that would place Attia at No. 25 and Gamliel at No. 33.
