Likud Recounts Be’er Yaakov Ballots After 260 Votes Appear From 240 Valid Ballots

Likud’s election committee, chaired by retired judge Menachem Ne’eman, ordered another count of the Be’er Yaakov ballots. The decision followed tally data showing 240 valid ballots but 260 votes recorded for MK Sasson “Shashi” Guetta, while MK Gila Gamliel received 240. Provisional results put Etty Hava Atia in the realistic No. 25 slot and Gamliel at No. 35. Likud said the revised count will be incorporated into final results after Thursday’s appeals, so the slate positions remain subject to change.
