IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said during a Gaza field tour that the military will not return to the security concepts it held before October 7. He said the IDF remains committed to demilitarizing the Strip and disarming Hamas by every required means, while continuing systematic strikes on the terrorist group, its leaders and efforts to rebuild. Zamir said forces remain deployed forward of Israeli communities and will act against threats as they emerge. He told commanders the campaign across Gaza, Judea and Samaria, Lebanon, Syria, Iran and other arenas is not over.
