Trump Says He Believes Mojtaba Khamenei Is Alive but Seriously Wounded

President Donald Trump said he believes Iran’s supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei is alive but “very seriously wounded,” including injuries to the left side of his body, arm and leg. Speaking to Glenn Beck, Trump said he did not accept reports that Khamenei had died. He added that if the Iranian leader were dead, officials in Tehran were maintaining a “pretty good show” by continuing to describe consultations with him. Trump’s assessment was not independently confirmed. In the same interview, Trump predicted a major U.S. victory over Iran soon.
