TA-35 and TA-125 Gain More Than 1% as Tower Leads Tel Aviv Close

Tel Aviv's TA-35 index rose 1.17% to 4,193.68 at Thursday's close, while the TA-125 gained 1.27% to 4,094.17. Technology shares advanced 2.51% and construction 3.54%, with Tower Semiconductor leading trading on a 5.39% rise and Nova gaining 3.82%. Equity turnover reached NIS 2.96 billion and bond turnover NIS 7.77 billion. The representative dollar rate rose 0.24% to NIS 2.9790, while the euro slipped 0.01% to NIS 3.4681; Ackerstein fell 7.52% and Shufersal 7.33% after weak second-quarter results.
