Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of an armed Israeli security officer escorting a handcuffed suspect past an armored vehicle on a nighttime street in Nablus, drawn in warm ochre and slate-blue pastel with cross-hatching on sepia newsprint.

Israel Police said Yamam fighters arrested a 37-year-old Lions’ Den-linked terror suspect in Nablus overnight after covertly reaching his home under Shin Bet intelligence direction. The force said the suspect had been wanted since his earlier activity in the Lions’ Den, which Israeli security forces dismantled in 2022. Police alleged that he continued advancing terrorist activity and attempts to carry out attacks against Israeli civilians. The suspect was surprised and taken into custody without casualties among Israeli forces. Police did not identify him in its statement.
