Israel to Open First Resident Embassy in Slovenia During Sa’ar Visit

Israel will open its first resident embassy in Slovenia in Ljubljana on Wednesday evening during Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar’s official visit. Slovenian Foreign Minister Tone Kajzer is hosting Sa’ar, who is traveling with an economic delegation, for talks on bilateral cooperation, Israel, the wider Middle East and peace efforts. The two governments are scheduled to sign a cooperation program covering education, science, culture, youth and sports. More than 50 Israeli and Slovenian business representatives are expected to join a business forum accompanying the visit.
