Petah Tikva 11th Graders Visit Palmach Museum for History Study

Eleventh-grade students from the six-year Moshe Arens School in Petah Tikva visited the Palmach Museum on Thursday for history learning beyond the classroom. During the visit, the students encountered stories and figures tied to formative events, viewed exhibits, asked questions and took part in reflection. They will turn the experience into a history assignment under the school's alternative-assessment program. The school said the activity reflects its approach that history is also learned through experience, observation, thought and inquiry, as well as through conventional lessons in the classroom.
