During searches in the security zone in southern Lebanon, the IDF's 55th Brigade combat team under the 91st Division found a Hezbollah position containing a shaft and launchers. The launchers held 32 rockets ready for use and aimed at Israeli territory; the military said they were left there before the ceasefire took effect. Troops destroyed the shaft and launch systems. The announcement did not specify when the discovery or demolition occurred, but said the operation was part of efforts to remove threats and prevent Hezbollah from rebuilding its military infrastructure.
