Gauzy Discloses Court-Approved $61 Million Debt Settlement

Gauzy said the Tel Aviv-Jaffa District Court made its debt settlement final and effective on September 8, ending the insolvency stay after creditors holding 98.96% of voting claims approved it. The Israeli smart-glass manufacturer said the arrangement resolves about $61 million in liabilities and provides for roughly $18 million of payments over 72 months beginning April 1, 2027. A binding $7 million investment led by CEO Eyal Peso is committed, with up to $4 million allocated to employee claims. Gauzy said management, creditors and existing shareholders are expected to hold 50%, 20% and 30% respectively after the related buyout.
