Palestinian Reports Give Conflicting Toll in Gaza City Vehicle Strike

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration derived from an archival public-domain 2007 panorama of Gaza City; it provides city context and does not depict the reported September 2026 vehicle strike or the alleged casualties.

Palestinian reports said a vehicle was struck Saturday evening in Gaza City’s northern Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, killing and wounding people. WAFA reported one person killed and several wounded, while Itón Gadol cited Palestinian media saying at least five were killed and several injured. The identities of those hit and the circumstances of the strike were not immediately known, and the higher fatality figure was not independently verified. Itón Gadol attributed the attack to Israel and said the IDF had not issued an immediate comment when the reports were published.
