Gaza Officials Report at Least Five Killed in Early Saturday Gaza City Strike

Gaza health and civil-defense officials reported that at least five Palestinians were killed in an airstrike on an apartment building in Gaza City early Saturday. The Israeli military had not immediately commented on the incident, and the report did not identify those killed or their status. Israel says Hamas has rearmed and launched attacks in violation of the ceasefire brokered by the United States last October, while Hamas denies those claims. Negotiators have not reached agreement on Hamas disarmament or the withdrawal of Israeli troops.
