Other players are reported to be weighing the same step, with one reporter putting the number at as many as five. Ireland postponed its pre-match press conference with manager Heimir Hallgrímsson and delayed training, and a players' statement on the fixture was expected. A UEFA delegate said the body learned of the delay only when the media did and that a fine was possible.
