Clalit and Check Point Sign Deal to Secure Staff AI Use

Clalit Health Services and Check Point have signed a multimillion-shekel partnership to develop a security gateway for Clalit's staff use of public AI tools. Clalit chief information security officer Avivit Kotler said the planned system would aim to prevent patient data from leaking and monitor autonomous agents and third-party applications for abnormal activity. Under the deal, Check Point retains the intellectual property and may offer the technology to other organizations. Clalit said patient data would stay in its own systems, while Check Point would see only metadata. Kotler expects broad deployment by the first quarter of 2027.
