Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of an empty patrol road, metal guardrail and tall security fence near Gaza’s former Karni crossing, from a July 2005 photograph; archival border context, not the yellow line inside Gaza or the October 3, 2026 firing.

The IDF fired toward suspicious movements near the yellow line in the Gaza Strip on Saturday morning, using an attack helicopter and tanks. Explosions and gunfire were clearly audible from the border area in the central part of the strip, according to the report. The account did not identify the people or objects involved in the suspicious movements, and did not report casualties or the result of the firing. It gave no exact operational time or names of the units involved.
