Police arrested four Nazareth residents after an exchange of gunfire in Kafr Manda on October 8. Police said the suspects belonged to a cell linked to a Nazareth crime organization; the cell is suspected of shootings at businesses in northern Israel in recent months. Officers deployed after receiving information about a planned shooting, returned fire when armed men shot at a building, and arrested the suspects after a pursuit. One suspect was evacuated in moderate condition with a gunshot wound. Police seized a pistol, an M16 rifle and vehicles involved in the incident.
