Iris Haim Criticizes Nitzan Alon Over Her Son’s Death

Iris Haim criticized Nitzan Alon, saying he had “a direct part” in her son’s death and telling him he had no right to speak. Haim is the mother of Yotam Haim, an Israeli hostage abducted by Hamas from Kfar Aza on October 7, 2023. In its December 15, 2023 account, the IDF said troops fighting in Shejaiya mistakenly identified three Israeli hostages as a threat and shot them, including Yotam. The IDF accepted responsibility for the incident; Haim’s accusation against Alon is her allegation.
