Dozens Protest Ben-Gvir’s Party Event in Lehavim

National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir attended an election gathering of his Otzma Yehudit party in Lehavim on October 20 as about 70 demonstrators protested his appearance. Dr. Maayan Sherman, the mother of Ron Sherman, was among those taking part in the protest at the party event. Her son was abducted on October 7 and later killed in captivity. Sherman criticized Ben-Gvir for opposing agreements to bring the hostages home, directing her protest at his stance on those deals.
