Bennett Condemns Racist Abuse After Report About Druze Woman on Bus

Naftali Bennett condemned racist abuse after sharing a report about a young Druze woman insulted for speaking Arabic on the phone. In a statement published just after midnight, he described her as the sister of a fighter pilot and daughter of a soldier in an elite unit. He called the treatment “not human and not Jewish.” Bennett said it would be equally shameful toward an Arab woman without that family background. He condemned identity-based bullying across Israeli communities and pledged to do everything he could to restore civility and the values of the Jewish people.
