G City Signs Energy-Storage Agreement for About 10 Israeli Properties

G City disclosed on October 11 that it signed a long-term cooperation agreement with AGEERA to develop battery storage at about 10 of its Israeli properties, with potential total capacity of approximately 300 megawatt-hours. The first installation is planned at G City in Rishon LeZion, with approximately 20 megawatt-hours of storage and an estimated investment of NIS 12 million. The systems are intended to shift electricity consumption from expensive peak periods to cheaper periods. The companies may also examine overseas expansion later, but no specific foreign project was identified.
