IDF Renews Arab al-Aramshe Searches; Powered Parachute Not Ruled Out

IDF forces resumed searches with first light on October 11 near Arab al-Aramshe on Israel's border with Lebanon. An unnamed military source said a powered parachute could not be ruled out after systems detected an unidentified object, initially thought to be a drone or unmanned aircraft. The searches followed the October 10 alert at 19:57; in its statement that night, the IDF said observers had spotted an unidentified aerial object near the border. That nighttime statement reported no unusual findings at that point and said forces were continuing their searches.
