Lod Court Sentences Daycare Aide to 10 Years for Violence Against Eight Toddlers

The Central District Court in Lod sentenced Rawan Abd al-Hai, an aide at Sigal’s Garden daycare in Hod Hasharon, to ten years in prison on Sunday. She was convicted of 277 violent offenses against eight toddlers aged eight months to a year and a half, committed between May and July 2023. The convictions included nine counts of abuse of a helpless minor and 122 counts of aggravated assault. The court also ordered her to pay NIS450,000 in compensation to the children’s parents.
