Defense Ministry Details Drone-Interception and Anti-Jamming Systems at AUSA

The Defense Ministry outlined drone-interception nets and field-updatable GPS anti-jamming protection among systems presented by 19 Israeli defense companies at AUSA 2026 in Washington, D.C. Its October 12 statement also described remote explosive detection using drones and robots, AI-based thermal systems, hybrid drone engines and flexible solar panels for field equipment. SIBAT Director Brig. Gen. (res.) Yair Kulas said the exhibition gives small and medium-sized firms direct access to decision-makers and opportunities for long-term cooperation with the U.S. Army and its partners. The ministry said the pavilion supports Israel’s defense industrial base and the longstanding Israeli-American strategic partnership.
