Ondas Acquires Three Israeli Defense Tech Firms for $56 Million

Ondas said it acquired three Israeli defense technology businesses — Insignito, Ottopia Defense and Caribou Labs — for aggregate consideration of $56 million in cash or shares. The agreement also provides for performance-based earnouts of up to $32 million through 2028. According to Ondas, Insignito develops passive acoustic drone detection, Ottopia provides autonomy and remote-control technology, and Caribou develops navigation and communications systems intended to work without satellite positioning. The company said the acquisitions expand its portfolio of autonomous defense systems.
