Israel and Albania Sign Expanded Cooperation Agreement

Israel and Albania signed an expanded cooperation agreement during Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar’s visit to Albania on October 12. Sa’ar said the visit began with a meeting with his Albanian counterpart, Ferit Hoxha, and the signing of the agreement. He said the agreement would open many business opportunities for Israeli and Albanian companies. Sa’ar also said Israel would always remember Albanians’ rescue of Jews during the Holocaust and described Albania as a true friend that consistently stands alongside Israel.
