Israel and Vietnam Advance Foreign-Worker Agreement and Construction Protocol

Israel and Vietnam are advancing a framework agreement to bring Vietnamese workers to Israel and an implementation protocol for the construction sector. Population and Immigration Authority Director-General Boaz Yosef met Vietnamese Deputy Home Affairs Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng to discuss future cooperation on foreign-worker employment. The Israeli delegation includes officials responsible for foreign workers and bilateral agreements, alongside senior representatives from several ministries. The sides agreed to examine protocols for additional sectors later, while Yosef addressed Israel’s need for skilled workers and the protection of foreign workers’ rights.
