Meta Reportedly Enables Smart-Glasses AI Features for Israeli Users

Meta has reportedly begun enabling AI features on its smart glasses for users in Israel, while Luxottica Israel prepares official imports of Ray-Ban and Oakley models. Israeli users have started receiving availability notifications in the Meta AI app and must accept its use before accessing the enabled functions. The reported features include answering questions about objects the glasses see, translating text and handling general questions. Official stock is expected in the coming weeks with manufacturer warranties, while the complete local feature lineup and rollout schedule remain unconfirmed.
