Missile Strikes Near Kharkiv Jewish School; No Injuries Reported on Campus

A Russian missile reportedly struck a short distance from the Ohr Avner Chabad Jewish school in Kharkiv, Ukraine, overnight. The school’s guard reported no direct damage to the building and no injuries on its grounds, despite significant destruction nearby. Rabbi Moshe Moskovitz, Kharkiv’s rabbi and a Chabad emissary, said the community would continue protecting its educational institutions and supporting local residents. He said the school would open in the morning as usual. Community volunteers were also reported to be helping nearby residents with water, basic food and emotional support.
