Israel's National Security Council issued a renewed warning on Tuesday ahead of the third anniversary of the October 7 attack, citing heightened risks to Israelis and Jews abroad. It said Iran and its proxies, Hamas and global jihadist groups view the anniversary as a significant date, with possible terrorist attacks, demonstrations and disorder. The council urged greater vigilance, avoidance of demonstrations and gatherings, and compliance with existing travel warnings. It also advised travelers against disclosing trips in advance or posting details of security service online, and said anyone facing an emergency abroad should first contact local security services.
