Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued an order on October 6 for United States and Texas flags at all state buildings to fly at half-staff on October 7. The directive commemorates the third anniversary of the Hamas terrorist attacks against Israel and honors those murdered. Flags are to return to full staff at sunset on October 7. Abbott also encouraged private individuals, businesses and municipalities to participate in the remembrance. He said, “Texas stands with Israel and with the Jewish community.”
