Israel Police Hold October 7 Tribute at Sderot and Other Battle Sites

Police Commissioner Danny Levy, senior police commanders and dozens of officers saluted and observed a minute of silence at 06:29 on October 7, marking three years since the terrorist attack began. The coordinated tribute took place at the old Sderot police-station site and other battle sites where officers and fighters fell defending Israeli civilians. Senior officers and commanders responsible for investigations at the battle sites laid wreaths alongside fellow officers. A ceremony was underway at the former Sderot station when police issued their statement, remembering the fallen and supporting bereaved families and officers wounded in the fighting.
