Herzog Lights Memorial Candle on October 7 Attack’s Third Anniversary

President Isaac Herzog marked the third anniversary of the October 7 attack with a memorial candle lit at 06:29 on Wednesday at the President’s Residence in Jerusalem. In his morning announcement, Herzog recalled the pain, loss and trauma associated with the attack three years earlier. His remembrance statement honored the people who were murdered and those who fell in battle. The president concluded his message with the words, “May their memory be a blessing,” alongside a video of the candle-lighting.
