EU foreign-policy chief Kaja Kallas called for Hamas to disarm so the Gaza Peace Plan could advance in an October 7 anniversary statement. She described the attacks as a barbaric act of terror and said Europe stood with Israel in remembering lives taken and destroyed by Hamas terrorists. Kallas expressed sympathy for victims, survivors, their families and those still carrying the pain. She urged rejection of every form of antisemitism across Europe, saying Jewish communities must be able to live openly, safely and without fear.
