Sa’ar Challenges Foreign Governments Over Their Response to October 7
Published

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar challenged foreign governments over their response to the October 7 attack at the Foreign Ministry’s third-anniversary ceremony. He asked how they would act if thousands of terrorists crossed their borders, murdered families, raped women, burned people alive and kidnapped children. Sa’ar criticized international restrictions and sanctions on Israel instead of assistance in removing the threat. He also rejected pressure to establish a Palestinian state, asking whether another country would willingly create such a danger after October 7 and the Second Intifada.
