Trump Says He Spoke With Netanyahu on October 7 Anniversary

United States President Donald Trump told reporters on October 7 that he had spoken with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and wished him and the people of Israel well. Speaking on the anniversary of the October 7 attack, Trump described it as a terrible day and a terrible tragedy. He also said that the “other side” was paying a heavy price for what it had done on October 7, without naming that side in the quoted remarks.
