Rosen Condemns Politicizing October 7 Anniversary

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of Senator Jacky Rosen in an archival studio portrait, wearing a striped jacket and pearl necklace against a plain blue backdrop.

U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen called it appalling for any elected leader to politicize the third anniversary of the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack. In a statement, she said the day should honor and remember those brutally murdered three years earlier and be a time of somber reflection and mourning. Rosen said the lives of those taken hostage, their families and the families of those murdered had been forever changed by October 7. She described the attack as premeditated murder by armed terrorists and condemned turning the anniversary of that tragedy into politics.
