Goldman Calls Mamdani’s October 7 Statement ‘Reprehensible’

U.S. Representative Daniel Goldman called New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s October 7 anniversary statement “reprehensible” in a direct reply on X. Goldman described the Hamas-led attack as a horrific terrorist assault against innocent Israelis and criticized the mayor’s presentation of disputed allegations as established facts while professing to grieve with those mourning the attack. Mamdani’s official statement acknowledged Hamas’s attack and hostage taking before accusing Israel of genocide and criticizing U.S. arms shipments. Goldman’s response challenged the mayor’s account on the third anniversary of the attack.
