U.S. Representative Randy Fine called on October 8 for New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to be stripped of citizenship and deported over his message marking the third anniversary of Hamas’s October 7 attack. In a post on X, Fine accused Mamdani of using the anniversary to attack Israel. “Mamdani should be denaturalized and deported ASAP,” he wrote. The mayor’s October 7 statement mourned the Israelis killed in the Hamas attack and those abducted, while also criticizing Israel’s subsequent military campaign in Gaza.
