Organizers estimated that about 2,000 people from 117 countries attended an October 7 memorial gathering at the Davidson Center beside Jerusalem’s Southern Western Wall. The figures, reported early on October 8, included about 200 participants aged 18–29. Friends of Zion founder Mike Evans initiated the gathering as part of the organization’s ambassador summit. Jewish and Christian community leaders joined bereaved families and former hostages for the October 7 evening event, held in remembrance of the victims of the October 7 attacks.
