Emmanuel Navon Announces Meeting With EU Ambassador-Designate Giorgio Aliberti

Emmanuel Navon, Israel’s ambassador-designate to Japan, announced that he had met Giorgio Aliberti, the European Union’s ambassador-designate to Japan. In a Japanese-language post published on October 14, Navon said he congratulated Aliberti on his appointment. Navon also expressed his affection for Italy and said he was especially pleased that an Italian would represent the EU in Japan. Both men are identified as ambassadors-designate by their respective official diplomatic missions in Japan.
