Shin Bet Guard Reportedly Restrained Tourist During Colombian Minister's Yad Vashem Visit

A Shin Bet guard reportedly pushed a tourist and held him on the floor at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem on October 14, while security staff were clearing a route for Colombian Foreign Minister Omar Bula Escobar's delegation. The confrontation followed a request for the tourist to move, and police took him for questioning. The tourist told police he had not understood what was happening; Shin Bet provided no response, while Yad Vashem declined to comment. Colombia's Foreign Ministry confirmed that Bula Escobar visited the memorial for a wreath-laying ceremony that day.
