Hebrew University Announces Paulson Gift for Engineering and Medical Research

Hebrew University announced a donation from John Paulson estimated at $250 million to $300 million to support engineering, medicine and trauma research. Speaking at the university’s Board of Governors gala in Jerusalem on October 17, Paulson outlined plans for a new engineering faculty, expanded medical and biomedical work, and research and treatment for trauma and post-traumatic stress. The university said its historic Mount Scopus campus would be named for Alina and John Paulson. The gift builds on Paulson’s earlier support for computer science and engineering at the university.
