Firefighters Contain Blaze at Beeri Workshop Founded by Yonat Or

Firefighters brought a blaze at the Ayuna carpentry workshop in Kibbutz Beeri under control on Monday evening, October 19. Five fire crews from Netivot worked alongside the kibbutz’s volunteer firefighting team, and searches found no one trapped inside. Crews continued tackling remaining hotspots to prevent the flames from spreading after control was achieved. A fire investigator will examine what caused the blaze. The workshop was founded by Yonat Or, who was murdered in the Hamas-led massacre of October 7, 2023.
