Petah Tikva Launches Water Education Program for About 1,000 Fourth Graders

A water and sustainability program called Connected to Life is launching in about 10 Petah Tikva schools for approximately 1,000 fourth-grade pupils. Meitav is funding the initiative in partnership with the Environmental Studies Center of the Council for a Beautiful Israel. Through experiments, practical tasks and creative exercises, pupils will examine water sources, how water reaches household taps, who supplies the city and how drinking-water quality is maintained. The curriculum also covers conservation and responsible water use, with case exercises involving burst pipes and cloudy water.
