Police Schedule Morning Emergency Drill in Modiin, Shaalvim and Nof Ayalon

Israel Police and emergency and rescue services have scheduled an emergency-readiness exercise for Tuesday, October 20, from 08:00 to 12:00. The drill will take place in Shaalvim, Nof Ayalon and on Hashmonaim Boulevard in Modiin-Maccabim-Reut. Police said residents should expect increased movement of security and rescue personnel in the exercise areas during those hours. The announcement said road closures and explosion sounds are not expected as part of the drill, which is intended to improve readiness for emergencies.
