The IDF said a planned military exercise will begin Monday evening in Ra’anana and continue until Tuesday morning. The drill will include the use of lighting, and residents should expect increased movement by military forces and emergency vehicles across the area. The military said the activity was scheduled in advance as part of its 2026 training program. It stressed that the overnight presence of troops, rescue vehicles and lighting does not indicate a security incident, giving residents advance notice before the drill begins.
