Zamir Reviews Gaza Division Drill Built on October 7 Lessons

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir visited a Gaza Division headquarters exercise on Tuesday that incorporated lessons from the October 7 attack and simulated defensive and offensive scenarios. With Southern Command chief Maj. Gen. Yaniv Asor and other commanders, he reviewed emergency readiness and operational plans. Zamir instructed commanders to ensure orders reach forward positions and soldiers, maintain vigilance against blind spots and prevent another surprise. He said defenses had been strengthened and forces reinforced across all fronts during the past week, while readiness remained high.
