Elron Replaces Lisya Bahar Manoah as Chair, Names Dan Hoz Interim Chairman

Elron’s board voted by majority to replace Lisya Bahar Manoah as chair and appoint Dan Hoz interim chairman, according to a company disclosure reported Wednesday evening. The proposal came from directors Ariel Bentov and Evan Renov, who share control of the Israeli investment company with Manoah. She challenged the move in writing and at the meeting, alleging conflicts of interest and improper considerations, and sent a warning letter ahead of possible legal proceedings. The other directors rejected her allegations and said the proposed change served the company’s business interests.
