Russia Rejects Netanyahu’s Claim of an Antisemitic Online Campaign

Russia’s Foreign Ministry on October 22 rejected Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s accusation that Moscow was involved in an online antisemitic campaign. The ministry described the allegations as unfounded in a response to a request for comment. Netanyahu had said on October 18 that Russia was helping Iran and using artificial intelligence to spread antisemitic messages through bot networks against Israel and Jews worldwide. He said Israel and Russia had conflicting interests, while adding that he remained in contact with President Vladimir Putin when necessary.
