Crypto Companies Forum Offers to Work With Government on Digital-Asset Reform

Nir Hirshman, CEO of Israel’s Crypto Companies Forum, said the industry group is ready to work with the government and regulators on reform of the digital-asset sector. Responding to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s remarks about preparing for possible economic sanctions through cryptocurrency and blockchain, Hirshman said these technologies could strengthen Israel’s access to global financial markets and make capital transfers more efficient. He described Israel as a leader in developing crypto and blockchain technology. Hirshman also stressed that public blockchain networks allow transactions to be tracked transparently.
